The purpose for the Empowerment Strategies Series is to share the methodologies and strategies that I have learned and used for over 25 years as the Founder and President of the Black United Fund of New York.

The Empowerment Strategies series gives historical perspective to the ability of Black people to engage in economic empowerment as a means of liberation. It is a fact that there are principles and methodologies that when put into practice, will bring about personal economic success. As a result, our social, political, and educational institutions will be energized.
Mastery and implementation of universal spiritual principles will surely lead to our empowerment.
