This would give Black America the kind of power it needs to become a major player in the making of policy in this country and around this world.
According to the New York State Department of Labor, the Black workforce in New York in 2006 was 1,451,100. Averaging one dollar a paycheck on a 52-week basis, the Black community could raise over $75,613,200 per year.
