The blog
was created with the intention of utilizing the Internet to create a college preparation infrastructure platform for sharing information. Callie is also the Memphis coordinator for the Association of Minority Health Professions Schools, Inc. (AMHPS), on the board of directors for Memphis Challenge, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and a past member of the Youth United Way Parent Advisory. She is also the founder of IAM - Inspiring Academic Motivation.

Currently, the blog has millions and millions dollars of opportunities that will be expiring in February and March.  Now is the time to apply for the various programs.  The blog if printed is over 200 pages and if read has thousands and thousands of link.  As always, share with others

Harvard Scholarships

Harvard University announced over the weekend that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families will pay no tuition. If you know of a family earning less than $ 60,000 a year with an honor student graduating from high school soon, Harvard University wants to pay the tuition. The prestigious university recently announced that from now on undergraduate students from low-income families can go to Harvard for free...no tuition and no student loans!  To find out more about Harvard offering free tuition for families making less than $ 6 0,000 a year visit Harvard’s financial aid website at: www.fao.fas.harvard.edu or call the school’s financial aid office at (617) 495-1581.

 

 National Achievement Scholarship Program

The National Achievement® Scholarship Program is an academic competition established in 1964 to provide recognition for outstanding Black American high school students.  Black students may enter both the National Achievement Program and the National Merit® Program by taking the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT®) and meeting other published requirements for participation.

The two annual programs are conducted concurrently but operated and funded separately. A student's standing is determined independently in each program. Black American students can qualify for recognition and be honored as Scholars in both the National Merit Program and the National Achievement Program, but can receive only one monetary award from NMSC.
